There is a chance this Discord feature is causing your screen sharing issue. ^Shared by Crono, this seems to work for me. At least for me, step 2 worked. Thanks to "Toxys" for sharing the link in other threads. I never had this problem before, and my settings didn't change. Game is on the HDD, installed through Steam. The lags happen regardles of whether I'm the host or not. I tried switching from DX11 to DX12, my drivers are up to date, and every other game works just fine. When I load into an open world (I just tried it with the profit taker boss), I get massive FPS drops that last for a good 10-20 seconds, especially if I'm moving around, and then again it stays at 60. When I load into a mission, I get ~5 seconds of lag, and then it stays at 60 the whole time. I turn around, my game almost grinds to a complete halt, and 2-3 seconds later it goes back to 60 and stays there. Or rather, my FPS is almost always at the 60 FPS limit I set, but ever since I updated the game 2-3 days ago, I get these weird lag spikes at the start of missions, or when loading into another area.įor example, when I log in, I get 60 FPS.
